Right now I really want to go swimming in a large body of water…a lake, the river, the ocean.  Anywhere where it’s just me and the water. I want to lay there and let the water drift me away. Feel nature.
I enjoy the feeling of just being by myself in the middle of a lake away from people and feeling my arms and legs brush against the coolness as I swim or tread. The water feels so nice, so fresh…relaxing, calm.
I remember once when I went to the lake with family I had separated from everyone and just swam way out into the lake to a spot where no one else was since most people stayed close to the shore. I stayed out there treading water for the longest time. It gave me time alone to clear my mind or just think.
Later on a couple of my cousins ended up venturing further into the lake on inflatable chairs and noticed I was the random person out in the middle of the water that had been treading water that whole time. They were surprised that I had been out there so long and maybe thought I was a bit strange for being by myself.
I don’t know why, but my legs don’t get tired from treading. I just stay there moving my arms and legs, focusing on the rhythm being created, feeling the water brush against my limbs with each movement. It’s nice…
I want to feel that calming rhythm of the water soon…
